Get Involved!!

At our daycare center, parents are encouraged to take part as an active member of the Almost Home Academy community. A child's parents are their greatest influence, and if you have a special skill to contribute or if you wish to share something from your culture, you are encouraged to do so. This adds to our award-winning curriculum to help the children to learn and encounter different experiences at this vital stage where they are curious and continually learning new things.

Local Resources to Round Out Your Child's Education

Children at the center love visits from a local police officer or dentist to talk to the children about what it is they do and where your child might encounter them outside the classroom. Field trips are a lovely addition to your child's education as well - for example to the grocery store, fire stations, library, or zoo. If you ever wish to join us, please do!!
